Hotel Firenze

We stayed only one night I would add fortunately. The room is very narrow and dimly lit, the bed sinks and is not comfortable. The water in the bathroom had a minimum pressure and to get the water to the right temperature it took quite a while and the shower looked like that of barbies. The air conditioner remote is not in the room so other hassle. The next day they contacted us accusing us (obviously unfairly) of having stolen it because during the cleaning they did not find it. Another fundamental lack... the bidet!!!!! Breakfast aside € 7 per person that are not a few especially for the girl who was in the room very much in the clouds forgot to bring us coffee, bread in the toaster etc .. In summary I would not recommend it.

one night and just to sleep is fine, however a freshening up of the walls and the redoing of the furniture would help to give a better rating missing a wardrobe with doors, the tuned television otherwise cleanliness and service were normal

As a business traveler who has stayed in approximately 500 hotels over the past few years, I was disappointed with my experience at Hotel Firenze in Saronno, especially considering the high rate of over 135 EUR per night for a single room. I stayed in room #4 between April 18 and April 20, 2024. Firstly, the room had a persistent smoke odor, which was especially pronounced in the bathroom. This made the stay quite uncomfortable. Additionally, the noise from the street was incredibly loud, both during the day and at night, indicating a serious lack of acoustic insulation. The water pressure in the shower was insufficient, making it difficult to shower properly. To make matters worse, the water drain was not working correctly, leading to a buildup of water during use. Finally, when I tried to address these issues, the receptionist was unable to speak English and could not provide a complaint form. This lack of basic customer service was frustrating and added to the overall negative experience. However, one positive aspect of the service was that they enabled me to check in late, which was helpful. After my stay, I approached to hotel to seek a compromise, given the abysmal value for money. Alas, they were not willing to negotiate. I cannot recommend this hotel for business travelers or anyone seeking a comfortable stay.
