Camping Sirmione

Very nice campsite, about 2km from the old town of Sirmione, supermarkets, ice cream parlors, and restaurants close at hand. Clean campsite, nice large pitches with a lake view. Highly recommended.

Disappointed.... but let's start with the good things. It looks beautiful by the pool and the toilets are clean. But you don't have any place to be when you are at the pool except for the water. We had a baby with us that was going to sleep. But we couldn't take the stoler in.. and there was no shadow by the pool.. that's way we wanted to take it in. The staff in the pool was very rude. If you want to go to the beach you have to ask for a key to the gate. This was something we had to ask other visitors for. The staff in the reception didn't say anything at all. We are two campersvans and wanted two places next to the water. But it was full they said... the parking lot we wanted was available the hole time.... Disappointed!!

So let’s start with the positives , great location, shops , bars restaurants 5 minute walk away and a supermarket and a good bus service there too. You can walk along the lake into the most beautiful historic town , that took about 30 mins. The campsite pitches were dusty makes sure you get a shaded spot. The reception people were not helpful at all, we paid for a large plot they put us in a standard, and when we asked to more into a shaded spot that we paid for they were angry and didn’t want to let us move but we did. The facilities were good and clean there 2 blocked only one has been updated pool was nice but pool attendant very rude . We went to put our towel on sun bed that was free , he went crazy and saying we needed to pay, which we hadn’t been told . No onsite shop , pool bar restaurant ok no atmosphere. That said we would stay again because of the location
