Do not book this hotel! We booked 4 nights here in June, but had to flee to hotel after this first night. Why? Because on the weekend the hotel’s rooftop bar becomes a nightclub with LOUD thumping music. It’s a small hotel, so the noise is inescapable. You can hear it everywhere.

We complained to the front desk and were told “don’t worry, the music will stop at 11 PM.” Well, what are we supposed to do for the 3 hours we cannot stand to be in our room?
It doesn’t help that the hotel rooms have poor air conditioning, so you need to open a window to cool it down. But with a nightclub upstairs, that’s clearly not possible.
There is also a constant stream of young people taking the elevator, going up and down the stairs and loitering in the street in front of the entrance. It’s not a good environment at all.
We complained again to the night manager, told him we were checking out, and wanted a refund for our unused nights. He refused and said we had to speak with his boss the next morning.
Never in my life have I had to leave a hotel in the middle of the night and sleep elsewhere.
If the Cristal wants to be a nightclub, that’s fine. But it shouldn’t advertise itself as a hotel.
