What an absolutely superb hotel! From the moment we arrived, my wife and I were made to feel incredibly welcome. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff, who were clearly proud of their hotel and genuinely cared about making our stay special. A special mention must go to Simone and Sebastiano on reception, who were exceptional. They always took the time to ask how we were and what we had planned for the day, and their advice and recommendations were absolutely wonderful. They gave us invaluable information about the local area, places to visit and what to expect, which really helped us make the most of our stay. The hotel itself is in a beautiful, peaceful location, just a short walk up the peninsula, with wonderful views across the lake. Being right next to the Roman Villa ruins is an added bonus and made the location even more special. We genuinely cannot speak highly enough of the hotel, its staff and the wonderful welcome we received. We were looked after so well that we are already planning our next visit! Thank you to everyone for making our stay so memorable

The name of the hotel is Ideal and what more fitting name and more. Simone, Sebastiano were so helpful and so were all the staff. Cleanliness to a very high standard with a three change of bed linen and towels daily. The location Ideal, the atmosphere ideal, room ideal, value ideal, noise level ideal service ideal and amenities ideal. Did miss the coffee and tea facility in the room, it is the first Hotel we have ever stayed in where it was not available.

Absolutely phenomenal hotel! Every aspect was 10/10. First and foremost, the guys manning reception were unbelievably good. Very professional, friendly, and warm with exemplary focus on providing the best customer service I have experienced in a hotel. Really top notch staff. The room we had had 2 doors opening onto the balcony with what must be the best vista in Sirmione. Great sunrises and sunsets to watch. The room was so very clean, and whilst not luxurious, it had everything we needed. Such a refreshing change that the controls for the air-con were simple to use (none of that touch screen nonsense!). Both the room and also the bathroom were spotless, so a bit thank you to the house-keeping staff. The bar terrace was fab, a really nice place to sit and chill. You MUST take advantage of the private stairs down to the beach. Stunning secluded area which is just lovely for sitting and daydreaming staring at the lake. We visited to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we will definitely stay here again.
