La Darsena

The staff is very kind and super helpful. The hotel is small and very beautiful, equipped with everything needed to spend an ideal vacation. The location is super, with a terrace right above the lake, with a spectacular view. Thanks for everything.

An extraordinary experience! First, the location: ideally situated in the middle of Lake Como (near Bellagio and Villa del Balbianello), the hotel is like it's perched on the lake (we had a room that overlooked the lake - highly recommended) And then the welcome: family-run hotel, where the sense of service is perfect, friendly atmosphere The restaurant completes the picture: idyllic setting and well-prepared meals

We recently had the pleasure of staying at La Darsena Hotel Ristorante in Tremezzo on beautiful Lake Como, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. This charming, family-owned three-star boutique hotel offers something that many larger luxury properties simply can’t replicate—warmth, authenticity, and genuine hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and cared for, always greeting us with a smile and going out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The on-site restaurant was exceptional and served some of the best local cuisine we experienced during our time in Italy. Every meal was thoughtfully prepared, but the standout was their unique take on tiramisu. It was unlike any version we’ve ever had—creative, delicious, and absolutely unforgettable. One of the most enjoyable aspects of our stay was seeing the family actively involved in the business. Watching the adult children work in different roles throughout the hotel and restaurant speaks volumes about the pride and dedication behind the operation. It creates a welcoming atmosphere that makes guests feel like part of the family rather than just visitors. For larger groups or families, the property also offers two beautiful private villas on Lake Como that can accommodate approximately 10–12 guests each, providing a wonderful option for those seeking a more private luxury experience. If you’re looking for a charming lakeside hotel with outstanding food, friendly service, and authentic Italian hospitality, La Darsena is a wonderful choice. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lake Como. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
