BEST WESTERN David Palace Hotel

We trusted the reviews and photos but our room paid for at a price of a four-star hotel, in fact it was not even worth Two... very dated structure .... old and dirty furniture inside .. we found intimate clothes of the customer who had preceded us .. the shower distant from the bidet only about 30 cm with the risk of tripping every time... flayed parquet floor and ugly to see .. roller shutter that stuck every time you had to lift or lower it .. the dusty and torn curtains ... malfunctioning air conditioning ... in short, a nightmare .... even breakfast that from the photos seemed to be inviting , was a disappointment ... but at least we were warned that the restaurant was under renovation so we were aware.... Only positive note the kindness and helpfulness of the staff all ..... Not recommended at least regarding the room that was assigned to us ..

We're told the hotel has changed ownership. The Best Western logos have been removed. We are in the middle of August and we are told that they do not have restaurant service. Breakfast is also limited to the sweet part, but that's an understatement: even the sweet part is not the least bit as good as a 4-star hotel as they claim. Too bad that the prices are not absolutely appropriate to the service offered. We were forced to leave after a few days for family reasons, but we should have stayed longer. I am grateful to the staff for not creating the slightest hitch to our request to leave early. I think it's going to take a lot of investment to get this hotel back to its rightful position. I hope they make it. Especially for the service staff, very kind and very friendly, but well aware of a worrying situation. Thanks to Gabriel, the breakfast room girl and receptionists for understanding and hospitality. That however we paid big for what was offered.

Loved this hotel! This is the second time taking a group of 30-40 to this hotel and this visit was just as enjoyable as the first. Beds were super comfortable, wifi was fast and strong in the rooms and breakfast was solid with a nice selection. Of the seven hotels we stayed in on this trip, the David Palace Hotel was one of our favorites. We will definitely return in the future.
