The hotel is old, it is not modernized, but it is there. The property is clean enough, the staff is 5-star, the location is good, but from a 5-star hotel one always expects something more. Excellent value for money

We booked a quadruple room at this hotel for 3 nights during our road trip along the peninsula. Classic and elegant atmosphere. Parquet and carpet. Marble bathrooms. Lobby with a lounge that captures the hotel's century-old atmosphere... very evocative! Although there were 4 of us, the room was comfortable and well-equipped with air conditioning. Bathroom with double sink (very useful). Excellent supply of shampoo and soap. Soft, quality terry cloth towels... Very close to the sea and with a splendid view. The pool with lounge chairs and chairs is a plus... but having the sea so close, it's really an extra option. Good and varied breakfast. Selection of both sweet and savory products. Staff always very kind and attentive to our requests. My son had a 30-minute massage for 35 euros (a widely reasonable price, also considering the hotel's level). You can sense the desire to welcome the customer well. If I may offer a small piece of advice: the gym area needs improvement because it seems a bit disorganized. Otherwise, we had a really great time.

We are currently staying in this beautiful hotel and have four rooms booked. I cannot in anyway understand the negative reviews. Firstly the staff are absolutely amazing and go above and beyond and are kind and efficient. Check-in was seamless and quick. We have four rooms and these are all spotlessly clean and beautiful and decorated to a high standard. The pool outside is immaculate and the perfect temperature and there are enough loungers available. Staff available to help with umbrellas Breakfast for €10 is excellent value and gives a wide choice of bacon and eggs and then a buffet style breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel and don’t have anything negative to say about it. We have not seen any of the disrepair as stated in previous reviews and cannot see where these photos were taken. The lounge area is air-conditioned with comfy sofas and is a welcoming space. The location is excellent. As a seasoned traveller, I would honestly have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
