Hotel Savoy Edelweiss

Good location close to the center and relatively close to the piste. Good rooms and good restaurant. Breakfast and dinner buffet were included in our arrangement. Nice service and very friendly staff. Very small ski stand and no boot heater.

People are lovely, dinner is fantastic, breakfast is not good, there is no toaster in the hotel, coffee machine is awful ( we bought our own coffee and fruit). Hotel beds are terrible, cheap and old. No investment in this property, I can say this as I was there 10 years ago and nothing has changed. Worst part was how miserable this place felt, example.. there is no shower gel, they give you a few tiny bars of soap and the shower was dirty with fungal mould on the walls and ceiling. The place felt dark and cheap and I will not recommend a stay here for couples, for a gang of lads who don't care, it's fine.

The location of the hotel was okay. The ski rental service the hotel had an agreement with was good and reasonably priced. Now to the biggest challenge: The service was poor. It felt like being in a school cafeteria. We were not allowed to touch any of the food. The staff stood in a line watching us. The atmosphere in the hotel was simply bad. I will still make an exception for the chef and the one lady who didn’t speak English. The rooms were small. Several people here have commented on the beds, which only had blankets and a thin sheet. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the hotel
