Milano

If you can get beyond the fact that the decor is dated this is a fantastic hotel, the service was great, the food was great. We went as three dads with our sons and has a great time. The location was excellent right in the middle of town with short walk to two of the gondolas from the hotel.

Hotel Milano is a very charming hotel with a nice atmosphere and we felt very welcome. The staff is very nice and accommodating. We stayed half board and the food was good classic Italian. A good selection of wines. Hotel Milano has retained much of its charming interior of the 6o's and has been carefully renovated. Sitting in the bar, where the bartender is good at mixing drinks, is like being in a Sean Connery James Bond movie. I hope this will be preserved forever :-) The rooms have large windows and balcony. Plenty of storage space !!!. Preserving the charm of the 60s, necessary renovation is done. Good housekeeping and a very nice and talented staff If you want the latest pretentious design and decoration, book any other hotel

the hotel seems to be a museum of the 50s , staff included. It needs a serious renovation as it seems that nothing has been changed the last 60 years The carpets in the entrance and the hotels corridors are ruined & the color has completed faded away. The shower in the room is a patchwork of different tiles. Also you fill like living in a room with all the other guests of there is no sound proofing Overall a surreal experience
