Sport Hotel Barisetti

We stayed with our ten and fifteen-year-old children at the Barisetti for a week and are happy to report the excellent welcome we received. We confirm the strategic location because it is not too far from the center and at the same time quiet; from the balcony of the modern suite, you can enjoy a splendid view of the mountains; breakfast and dinner were appreciated, as was the cleanliness in every area of the hotel. We thank the entire staff for contributing to making us spend a wonderful vacation in Cortina.

Alice and the staff at Hotel Barisetti were so helpful and friendly. On checking out early to travel to a hotel nearer the airport for an early morning flight, Alice offered to provide sandwiches, which we declined (we had eaten), but we took the drinks offered. We were provided with a complimentary parking voucher for the week, which was appreciated as it was very busy in town due to the ultra mountain races so parking spots were few and far between. Our room was spacious, kept meticulously clean every day, with fresh towels when needed, and ample toilet supplies. The balcony offered fantastic views of the mountains and was a great spot to relax after a day's hiking. Shower and bathroom were great. Breakfast was ample, plenty of options including scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon , fruit and other continental options. We dined at the hotel a few times, food was varied and delicious, and reasonably priced. Trying to find spots in town to eat without significant advanced booking was tricky, so the option to eat at the hotel was welcomed. The hotel is well placed, only 10 minutes walk from town in a quiet location. In hot weather the room got pretty warm, as there's no air conditioning, though with shutters down the balcony door and window could be left open overnight for some airflow. A lovely hotel, great staff, would definitely stay here again. Thank you Alice and team!
