Atlantic Hotel Arona

The hotel is terrible, not even 4-star, it's more like 2-star+. The room is worn out, the walls and doors are a horrible dark blue, the carpet on the floor is stained, the shower cabin is so small that if a person with a curvy figure enters, they won't be able to turn around. Ants are crawling in the toilet. Breakfast is a buffet, but if you want boiled eggs, you have to boil them yourself. Dinner is a bit late, at 7:30 PM, and you sit there not knowing what they will bring you, the food is not tasty, fresh vegetables were on the table only 2 times during the week of stay. One plus is the location of the hotel, the lake, the city beach nearby, the train station, the port, shops within walking distance, but they close at 7:30 PM. There is a refrigerator in the room, but for some reason the maids turned it off twice, and the towels were changed every day.

In the middle of a heatwave. ACs are a necessity. When I try actually put the AC into cold the whole thing turns off with none of the other options producing cold air. Somehow they "don't work" so you are basically left to rot in the room you are in. To my knowledge nobody from our tour has an AC which demonstrates poor planning ahead of a scorching heatwave like this one.

It is a privilege to be welcomed, looked after, and pampered as happens to me every year, for several years now, at the Hotel Atlantic. The property needs a restyling, without a doubt, but the quality of sleep, the comfort of the room, the services, the staff, and the hospitality are aspects that have priority at the Atlantic and are respected to the letter. Monica, an expert, an iron lieutenant with a sweet soul, a heart of gold, and UNIQUE availability... Roberta, the student who wants to surpass the teacher... is on the right track. Two IMPECCABLE women. Hotel Atlantic in Arona: GUARANTEE!
