Bed and Breakfast “Le Isole”

Not exactly what you would expect from a bed and breakfast. Spartan,self service breakfast with stale, individually prepackaged croissant and biscuits. Nothing like the photos on the site. Small, narrow bathroom without a separate shower box, so it was impossible to get a normal shower. To be fair, the beds were ok and the view from the children's room was beautiful.

We found this b&b last minute and did not check reviews. We should have never done that. Apart from the view which is great, everything else was disappointing, from the uncomfortable bed and pillows which felt like they had been used forever, to the prepackaged breakfast which we did not touch at all and the noise from both the couple running the place and especially on the morning of our departure when the owner was doing repairs with some handymen and it got unbearable, people shouting and drilling. We got up and packed and got ready to check out. No “sorry” for the noise, as a matter of fact what really got to me was the fact that the owner did not even speak to me, just my husband and even made an inappropriate joke about Albanians. We did not meet his wife, she didn’t bother to come and meet us, so I do not know if she spoke English, I know I speak Italian, so I got doubly offended as a woman and as a foreigner when I was completely ignored and the owner just said goodbye and hope to see you again to my husband. And in Italian there is a difference between singular and plural “Arrivederci e spero di rivederti”.

Wonderful stay in one of their beautiful rooms called "Romantic", very spacious room with private kitchen, bar fridge, bathroom and fire place a true romantic room that has a characteristic style! The View from the Villa B&B Le Isole is astonishing the sunset and the sunshine you get to enjoy is priceless and takes away all the stress, Ermanno and Luciana are very helpful and directed me in the best restaurants and also access to discounts for visiting the Islands that you obviously can't miss out!! Certainly a come back if It happens to be around the area!!
