Camping Rose

Nice camping site. It have all you need to have a nice relaxed vacation. Resturant on campsite is very good high quolity to fair price. Personale is very frindley and service minded. All Facilties is good condition We will return.

It is a very nice experience to be at Röse, nice, clean toilets, fine Resturant and lovely staff. The pool small but nice. The prices of sun loungers by the beach and the pool, however, were overpriced, just like the price of board and canoe rental. We will definitely come back if we are to camp at Lago Maggiore

The campsite is small but well shaded. It has a mix of permanent pitches, chalets and camping/ motorhome pitches. We had the choice of 5 pitches and we chose no.14. It is in a quiet corner and close to shower/ toilet block , restaurant and the lake. Point of interest... it is compulsory to wear a swim cap in the pool. The site was well maintained and the toilet/ shower block was spotless. Toilet paper is provided. Showers are hot and you can take your hair dryer etc and plug in the wall. There are 2 washing machines. Contactless @€4 for a large load. I recommend taking water shoes as there's rocks and sandy sludge going into the river. You can hire SUP's/canoes for €10 an hour. They do also charge for sunloungers/shade round the pool/riverside. There's plenty of tree shade at the riverside though. There's a large supermarket and a smaller one as you turn left onto the main road. Take mosquito repellent etc as they are near the river as you would expect.
