My husband and I stayed 3 nights. We had a room with lake view. It had 2 balconies. The hotel and rooms are fully renovated. Our Room (mini suite) was great, clean and bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was quite big. There is a terrace on the upper floor. It has a great view of the lake and its surroundings. You can have breakfast on the terrace or you can enjoy drinks in the evening. The location is great. The ticket booth for ferries is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The hotel also has a washer and dryer. You can use them for a small fee. I would definitely recommend this hotel. You will not be disappointed. M.C

good location, clean, nice view over the lake Maggiore but not from the first floor for sure where in the room unfortunately there was absolutely lack of wi-Fi signal, very kind staff. The 2 single beds were very uncomfortable trolley beds- sit and you’re almost folded in, even keeping old classic style have to refresh at times, need renovations. Tasty coffee and good breakfast at a nice hall just a step from the lake shore, wonderful start of the day!

I wish I could give more for this hotel but it really wasn't that good. I stayed 4 nights around a wedding in the area so thankfully wasn't in the room too much - The rooms are just awful. Everything feels so incredibly dirty and old, the shower was terrible and a note stuck on the shower indicating you need to keep the water running 10 mins if you want a hot shower is a pretty big red flag. All these things might have been ok but the breakfast for me was the final straw. I don't expect that much, but it was really really bad. A couple of stale cereal options, some old fruit in a bowl and some packet cakes you'd get on a plane? The only saving grace was the lovely view from the balcony which was great. I'm sure the hotel could have some charm if they were to fix a few things, but until then I can't understand how it would get more than 1 or 2 stars .... at least start with a better breakfast and some decent coffee??
