HOLIDAY INN TURIN CITY CENTRE

I had a really good stay at this hotel, primarily because of the location: it is just steps from the station, making it very convenient. Of course, being in the station area, one must be a bit cautious when returning in the evening, but the street of the hotel is very quiet. The room was quite large and equipped with every comfort; cleaning is done every day (the only downside was the toilet brush, but I want to think it was just an oversight...); each room has a balcony, mine overlooked the internal courtyard, and while the view was not the best, it ensured tranquility. I would like to highlight the excellent and varied breakfast (even though from a hotel of this level I expected a bar instead of self-service coffee machines, but the cappuccino was still good) and the great kindness and professionalism of the staff. I believe the hotel has been recently renovated, and it shows, except for the windows, which perhaps should be replaced. In conclusion, I recommend it for those looking for a good hotel near the station.

Attending a musical event in Turin, I looked for a hotel that was close to the station in a quiet area and at an acceptable price. All features that seemed well matched in the 'Turin City Center'. Reality exceeded expectations: location just 50 meters from the side exit of Via Sacchi of Porta Nuova Station, quiet area and away from the noise (it was a Saturday night!) and honest price for a four star! It certainly helped me to be a member of the Best Western chain, a 'title' that I acquired with a single stay in the same hotel group, which periodically offers advantageous offers. My single room was comfortable, the breakfast decidedly varied and plentiful (a must yogurts in glass jars!). If I return to Turin I will stay again at the City Center, which I would recommend!

We are a short walk from the center and in the immediate vicinity of Porta Nuova station, but with the advantage of being in the second row, which guarantees reduced noise pollution and more advantageous rates. The hotel is now, after a radical renovation, a Best Western affiliate and guarantees excellent value for money. We were assigned a clean and fragrant room of large size (probably suitable to comfortably accommodate a third bed), with a prefinished floor and a terrace. Nice bathroom, as well as the large shower. Excellent breakfast, both for presentation and assortment. Unfortunately there were the usual two single mattresses combined to get a double; they were still of excellent workmanship, able to guarantee a good rest. Appreciated the topper that limited discomfort, although it could have been thicker. A little limited courtesy tray: I would have added a few more infusions and preferred ceramic cups to ordinary paper cups.
