The hotel enjoys an excellent location, very close to Porta Nuova and the city center, for those who want to be a tourist. The staff is exquisitely kind, both at the reception, in the breakfast room, and on the floors. A special mention goes to the breakfast: truly excellent and very abundant, both sweet and savory. The room was very clean, with recent furnishings; the bathroom was a bit less recent but also very clean. My room faced the inner courtyard, so at night, I didn't hear the street noise and slept well. Let's get to what I didn't like: the room was very small; I had booked a double because I like to be comfortable, but I found myself in a single with a double bed, and the remaining space was really very little. Furthermore, the bed was also short; I'm not a giant, but my feet were sticking out. There is no minibar; the thermostat is on the wall, so no remote control. There is no real closet, just a kind of protruding wall closet without doors and with a rod for hangers; the shelf where one could write is Lilliputian in size, even the stand where to place the suitcase is small, and I had a "carry-on" trolley. Hotel suitable for short stays and for those who spend very little time in the room; after a while, between the narrow room, cramped hallways, and a strangely "portioned" elevator where a maximum of three people (of small build) can fit, you feel the coffin effect, typical of certain Milanese hotels.

The good: excellent location to get to know the city center, spacious and clean beds.
The bad: The air conditioning is completely obsolete, it does not provide cool air and produces an unacceptable noise for sleeping. The bathtub matches the air conditioning in terms of age; if they replaced it with a simple and modern shower, the room would gain points. The television does not have an internet connection, something incredible nowadays.
The staff is correct but dry, I have no complaint but I will not remember them for their friendliness either.

I stayed in this hotel for three nights, and I must say that the experience was excellent. It is a three-star hotel, mainly due to some characteristics of the structure, which features narrow and slightly cramped corridors leading to the rooms. Our room was on the fifth floor, and the elevator takes a while to go up and down. Despite these limitations, the staff manages to compensate and exceed the potential of the facility with courtesy and kindness. The breakfast includes numerous sweet and savory options and truly satisfies everyone. You can also choose to have it in the small outdoor courtyard. The proximity to the center is one aspect I have not yet mentioned that adds value to the stay; you can reach Piazza San Carlo in about ten minutes and Piazza Castello in fifteen. Recommended!
