Hotel San Gottardo

We had a balcony room overlooking the lake. It was a lovely spacious room and opening the curtains each morning was a delight. Breakfast was good with a wide choose. Service was excellent throughout and its location is brilliant. A few mins walks to the charming old town, lots of bars and restaurants. The car park is 10 mins walk away but you can drop off and pick up luggage. The ferry is opposite the hotel so it’s ideal for exploring all of the lake. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

We had an excellent stay in a very comfortable quintuple room. The staff, multilingual and highly professional, is attentive and welcoming. The breakfast is varied, generous, and delicious.

I can only express an excellent opinion of this hotel property. Certainly the location, the excellent breakfast, the services, etc. are appropriate for the category, but, definitely, it is the entire staff that makes the stay magnificent. Professionalism, availability, and courtesy reign supreme. 10 out of 10
