El Faro Hotel

Location is superb. The hotel service is excellent. The rooms have the perfect combination between luxury hotel and beach, beautiful decoration. The hotel provides relax, and discretion.

We had our honeymoon at El Faro in early July 2026. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we had the perfect time. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and we were able to use all the hotel's facilities whilst we waited for our room to be available (we arrived in the morning). The room itself was spacious, very well maintained by the friendly cleaning staff, and had a lovely balcony with a perfect view of the sea which we never tired of. The whole hotel was in impeccable condition, clean, and staffed with incredibly friendly and welcoming people. The beach itself is not sandy, but there were plenty of lounging areas with ample shade for guests to relax. The beach area never felt crowded, and the lack of sand not only made cleaning up easier, but greatly improved our snorkelling experiences. The rocks were so clear, populated with a wide range of interesting sealife. We saw dozens of fish species, starfish, jellyfish, and even a wild octopus, which was very cool! The hotel boasted some of the best food we have ever eaten, each evening was a unique culinary experience, and we also enjoyed the private dinner for two at the seafront. Lunch was also available every day (for a reasonable cost) and again the food quality was sublime. We both used the spa which was also a decent price (lower than what is offered locally to us!) and was an excellent service and experience. The staff overall were lovely, and remembered your face which made the experience feel much more personable and enjoyable. Guests worried about mosquitoes should know that they regularly provide easily applied sprays which were very effective at getting rid of the little sh!ts. We loved the hotel so much that we never left, despite staying 8 days and arriving with delusions of going on day trips (which were made available and the hotel is decently connected to nearby towns, though we'd recommend a car hire). The worst thing about staying at El Faro was that it had to come to an end, and we would definitely return in the future.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The resort is not too big, which I personally like. The pool was great and big, the ocean is right there, the spa was amazing! My room was great too. Staff were lovely. Spectacular views. The price was unbelievable for how nice everything was. It was super relaxing and quiet. Also very clean. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Also it says it’s a 4 star resort but I have been to plenty of 5 star resorts that were not as good as this one. I was sad to leave.
