Hotel El Balear

I stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel Bel Balear in Alghero with my daughter. The hotel's strong point is definitely the spectacular location, ideal for enjoying Alghero and its surroundings. The rooms are rather modest and, overall, nothing particularly special, but we found them to be quite clean. The only slightly annoying aspect was the air conditioning, which was a bit noisy during the night. The staff was kind, helpful, and friendly, always ready to meet our needs. Breakfast was also good, with a satisfactory selection. One thing that I personally did not appreciate much is the hotel's policy of requiring payment for the stay upon arrival: I found it unpleasant, especially compared to the custom of paying at departure. Overall, however, we had a pleasant stay. The location and the kindness of the staff are definitely the strong points of the property.

In my view, this hotel has numerous qualities: an amazing view of the sea, a location a stone's throw from the historic center of beautiful Alghero, engaging staff both at the reception and in the breakfast room, and a varied and generous breakfast starting with the incredible scrambled eggs! And then the room was spacious and always clean! Highly approved across the board!

We stayed at Hotel El Balear with half board, breakfast was very varied and good, and for the dinner menu you could choose between three first courses, three second courses, etc., the food was excellent, not to mention the very thorough cleaning, and the location near the sea, everything was very beautiful, it exceeded our expectations and compliments to all the staff for their kindness, we recommend it and hope to have the opportunity again, when we take a trip to Alghero, to be guests of this hotel.
