Lu Palau de Antoni

Not so clean and very small room. but the hotel is near the Beach and Guiseppe is really nice man.two big supermarkets are near the hotel.5 minutes to the beach.sometimes no bread and milk for breakfast but it's ok.

We have spent 10 beautiful days in this apart hotel and it was just perfect! The owner, Guiseppe, is very friendly, kind and helpful person - we were glad to have little talks, received every day tips where to go etc... Accommodation is clean, nice and very well decorated - you are feeling yourself simply as at home there :) perfect location - 1 minute to 2 big supermarkets, 3 minutes to long sandy city beach and one of the best beach bar to meet sunset. We had beautiful room with nice yellow walls and bathroom which had entrance on balcony. Breakfast is self-service: you will find many choices there for nice start of the day (yogurt, granola, bread, cheese, meat, coffee, tea......) In the evening, when we were not going out, we were glad to enjoy beautifully decorated living room with tasty dinner and glass of wine. If to say shortly, we would be happy to come back one more time Lu Palau de Antoni and to be guest of Guieseppe!

The room OK, but basic and not so clean. In fact this place is a hostel rather than a B&B. The breakfast is selfservice, this means that you can take some basic ham, cheese, orange juice ... out of the fridge yourself and do the dishes yourself. If you like this, great. But if you're looking for a nice, cosy place near Alghero, I think you can find better places to stay. The location is practical, but a little creepy at night. Although on Expedia there is written that this place has a parking place for their residents, this is not true. You have to park the car on the street. No disaster, but again a little dissatisfying. The owner was really friendly though and you could easily contact him by phone or e-mail.
