Beautiful and well-maintained grounds. Really great pool and nice spacious rooms. Reception very accommodating. Great location within walking distance to a really beautiful beach. Only the restaurant was not convincing. At dinner, the dishes were indeed presented well and tasted good, but the portions were so small that you were not full even after 3 courses... The breakfast was ok. Overall we liked it and we would come again (with a rental car!).

We return to the Aquadulci every year the first week of July: it is our third stay. We had chosen and re-chosen it for a specific reason: the all-inclusive formula allowed us total relaxation, without ever needing to leave the property. The location and environment remain at an unchanged level of excellence — the garden, the pool, the quiet, and above all the proximity to Su Giudeu, one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia, are priceless. Unfortunately, this year there was a clear step backward precisely in the dining, which in the two previous years was top-notch in quality and variety. Since full board is no longer available, the restaurant only offers an à la carte menu: it never changed in an entire week, and there were no daily specials to provide variety. The quality and variety have been drastically reduced, a level that, for the price and such a location, is absolutely not up to par. For the first time in three stays, we were forced to dine out at the nearby bistro, which, however, does not have the splendid setting of the hotel restaurant. The dining room staff is always very kind, even if not always fully up to the task; a special mention goes to the maître d' Michele, an absolute point of reference, who was able to compensate for the shortcomings caused by these changes with extreme professionalism. A note of merit also for Lisa and her massage service: professional and relaxing, a true added value for those looking for complete relaxation. A consideration for management: those who choose a property of this level do not have a price problem; they are looking for quality. And given the isolated location, without a car, it is effectively impossible to compensate for the restaurant's shortcomings elsewhere: the guest remains "captive," and the entire stay suffers as a result. Precisely for this reason, the opinion of regular guests—those who return every year and know the previous standard—would deserve to be weighed carefully. In summary: the property remains excellent, but the downsizing of the dining offer heavily impacts the overall experience and what made this hotel unique. We would really like to return next year and find the quality that had amazed us: we hope for a return to the standards to which this property had accustomed us.
