The first two nights were a disaster for our sleep. We arrived late at night and my sons bed broke at 01.00 so they had to be moved. The next day the bed was not fixed properly and the same thing happened so two nights sleep ruined. The room was not sound proof as described and so on 3 mornings I was woken by the early morning call for our neighbours room. It was so loud and early and made it impossible to get to sleep again. The pool is by a very busy main road with regular bus service which leaves a constant smell of diesel which is not conducive to spending an enjoyable time around the pool. The hotel is listed as four star and modern. This is not true. It’s dated and has no four star services like tea and coffee or iron when asked for use of an iron we were told 'no you are not allowed this'. A wardrobe with hangers, Wi-fi and tv does not make a four star hotel. For a weeks stay the breakfast is repetitive. The same thing every single day. We asked if a late check-out was possible (check out is 12 and wanted to leave at 7pm) the hotel wasn't full but the cost would have been a full nights rate. Our reason for wanting the room was due to not enjoying sitting around the pool due to the diesel smells. The good bits: Hotel was immaculately clean and the blinds for the window are excellent. The pillows and mattress were rock hard. Obviously they are not going to change a mattress but did give us extra pillows which were lovely. Its a shame that the hotel don't live up to expectations or cost in the other areas of facilities. I did ask Booking.com to facilitate a complaint due to the poor experience/lack of sleep on nights 1 and 2 due to the broken bed but it appears that the hotel have refused this. I wish I had taken more notice of the reviews before booking

The hotel is about 30mins walking distance from the city center which is totally ok since there is a bus stop in front of the hotel. Bus ticket for 90mins costs €1.30 (tickets only available in Tobacco shops!) and you have to validate IN THE BUS. There are several busses and I never had to wait longer than 15mins - busses also go to Poetto beach which is very convenient. I chose this hotel because of the pool - very handy if you don't have enough time to go to the beach but like a swim. Hotel Bar was open quite long and I was also able to get food around midnight. The room was not really big but all you need and I also had a balcony. The view was not special but totally ok! This was the FIRST HOTEL EVER where I was able to close the blinds of the windows and it WAS DARK!!!! I have never found this before and this is very helpful if you like to sleep. GREAT! Taxi from/to Hotel was only €20.- but also the ride is only 10-15mins. Very convenient! The only thing which was a bit annoying (but not really the hotel's fault): I wanted to register for a tour but the man at reception told me to come back later as he doesn't know..... (and he didn't speak English well).. when I finally found the lady to ask, she said it's fully booked .. I think you need to book a few days/weeks in advance in Summer, those trips seem to be popular. I would totally book this hotel again!

This hotel was not near the centre of Cagliari (although the description said it was) It was a good 35 min walk which isn’t that bad in the day but at night it’s not a very well lit road for 2 girls. We had no choice to walk as the transport stopped at 10 pm! Taxis are very hard to come by even at the taxi rank. The hotel staff didn’t have a lot of information to give us, we found out most things ourselves, including that there’s a night bus at weekends and u can buy a 5 day bus pass for €12 which we didn’t know until we left. The buses run quite frequent (PF & PQ) bus stop is across from the hotel. There isn’t any restaurants or bars near the hotel, it’s very residential/business area. The hotel itself needed some updating, very dark wood and a purple tiled bathroom (think 70’s) but very clean everywhere. Good pool area, not many beds. Bit difficult to communicate with bar staff, they don’t speak English. Poor breakfast, wouldn’t stay again, not our kind of hotel unfortunately, more suited to business trips.
