Blu hotel Morisco

A couple of positives about this hotel. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sun loungers that don’t get reserved early in the morning. Most of the staff are pleasant. Our room was kept clean and had nice quality towels and bed linen. The disappointing elements were the bed was very uncomfortable, sun loungers were more comfortable! The food was generally very poor! There was a very limited choice available and the quality was well below anything I’ve ever experienced, even the pasta dishes were poor! I don’t see how this can be a 4 star hotel. The desserts however were pretty good. One morning coffee was being served in juice glasses as they didn’t have any cups, this was early in the morning too. There isn’t enough seating available outside for an evening drink, people were sitting on sun loungers as there just wasn’t enough room. Didn’t think the resort was that great and the beach was underwhelming. Tried to make the best of a bad holiday choice but most definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Food was quite good and the hotel was generally clean and well maintained however on our second day there on returning to our to access our safe we found we were unable to open the room safe with the code we put in. After pressing a reset code it had opened someone had been in to our room and accessed the safe and money had gone missing the management were useless and could not give a toss. We felt unsafe when leaving our valuables in our room so had to take them with us. Note to anyone going to this hotel do not use the room safe there are cheat codes for accessing them you have been warned do not leave anything of value im your room. Location was okay not a great deal to do in the area there is a small town with expensive shops and transfers to excursions appeared to be limited in comparison to hotels closer to Olbia. I would not stay again

We were able to reach delicious restaurants on foot from the hotel and get to know remote beaches and interesting places with the rental car. We also enjoyed spending time at the very clean and sufficiently large pool to relax or swim a few laps after we were able to enjoy a delicious breakfast; the selection was, in my opinion, very good and everything you felt like having was sufficiently available or was replenished by the very attentive and especially nice staff; I have experienced worse before. All employees were very, very friendly and nice to us, also up for a little joke, so honestly, I do not understand the negative reviews. Everything was always very clean and also worked. There was also no problem when we wanted to park our car in the underground garage for the night from Sunday to Monday, since a larger market always takes place in the area of the hotel on Mondays. The snacks at the hotel pool also got us through the day well until the evening, at very reasonable prices, I think. So we would go there again.
