Nicohotel - Carloforte From personal experience, the best hotel in Carloforte. Perfect location on the seafront of the beautiful historic center of Carloforte. The all-female staff is very kind and efficient. Spacious and elegant sea-view room with light solid wood furniture and elements chiseled with wave motifs, the paintings and the colors of the walls recall the sea; the spacious bathroom is entirely covered with refined local stone. Excellent and varied breakfast with fruit, yogurt, sweets and homemade cakes and quality Sardinian products, cheeses, cold cuts, etc.

For years we have been traveling to Carloforte for short vacations or a weekend getaway. This time we ended up at the nichotel where the staff was, almost all of them, very kind and friendly. The fantastic location and an excellent breakfast. Another issue is the room, economy in this case, where the bed (or rather the two single beds joined together) was very uncomfortable and together with the topper that did not guarantee a comfortable posture but blocked the heat, not letting body heat breathe. Fantastic bathroom amenities, but the shower had low pressure in the showerhead system. I will return but not at the price paid.

Excellence in everything!! Having checked in late, it was a pleasant surprise to get a free upgrade for the room we had booked... so much so that we were so thrilled that we did an additional upgrade ourselves to thank them... and the room was truly excellent... view of the main street and the small harbor... a glimpse of the whole town from above... comfortable bed... top-notch cleanliness... and excellent breakfast!!
