Colonna Beach Hotel

This hotel is listed as a 4 star don't be fooled it's no more than 2 star, very dated and very run down, do your homework this place has had no investment for 20 years. Food came out cold and was sent back . The pool and surrounding areas were very shabby, missing tiles around the pool loose and dirty tiles on the bottom of the pool , pool closed for a day due to water issues. We upgraded to half board and still ended up eating out. We sent an e mail to Tui and basically got ignored.

a bit old but cute property, not all bathrooms have a shower, some have a bathtub with a shower head, staff available but who do not find solutions to problems. For the price you pay you should get much more.

Briefly about the hotel's downsides, just so you know what's actually here. Might be useful It is about a 10-12 minute walk to the beach across the field. The beach itself is paid, and even to just rinse off after the sea, you have to buy separate tokens for the shower in addition to paying for sunbeds/the beach. The hotel itself is old, and the level of service is very weak. The restaurant is open only in the evening, and during the day, there are essentially only focaccia and sandwiches. There is no room service at all. The bar is open only until 11:00 PM. About the steamer and iron - for the first time I've encountered that a hotel of this level cannot provide either a steamer or a proper alternative, only a full laundry service. The number itself is also very weak. For some reason, there are two beds—one double and some other separate children's bed. The curtains are practically transparent, which makes it difficult to sleep normally in the morning. A shower like the one at my dacha, on a high platform the size of a person. Soundproofing - you can hear the neighboring rooms so well that you can literally talk through the wall. Overall, the main problem is not in one single point, but in the combination: an old room, very limited service, weak power during the day, and a paid beach with strange additional charges.
