B&B Nidi Della Poiana

We spent a week in Alghero and enjoyed every single moment of our stay. The purpose of the journey was to unwind and recharge the batteries before the upcoming winter. We got lodged in two twin-bed rooms, well furbished, very clean and with a gorgeous view to the sea. The location is a land house in the middle of olive trees, and - if it weren't for the occasionally barking dogs - it is quiet and detached. The landlords Marco and Donatella do their very best to please the guests: breakfast is extensive, with bread, croissants, pastries, ham, salami, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, fruits, and a good cappuccino from the machine. The veranda breakfast companions, two dogs and three cats, are sweet and won't bother if you don't feed them. It is a 10 min drive to the beach and a 5 min drive to the town / restaurants. Definitely, the place to choose if you fancy a retreated B&B to relax properly.

Stayed here for 2 nights, a peaceful place, close to busy Alghero. the only less point is the fridge in your room, a very small noisy fridge, had to turn it of by night.. Breakfast was good in a beautiful quiet garden.

This was our last stop during our trip through Sardinia and I must say that this was the best B&B of our trip. Laying in the hills just out of Alghero with an amazing view of the sea this is a place were you can relax after a busy day. The owners a very friendly and helpfull with all your questions, you even can use there BBQ if you don't feel like going to a restaurant. People who are not keen on dogs should notice that they have 2 dogs who are running free on the property. I'm sure if you ask the owner he will lock them up in their cage.
