Hotel Santa Maria Resort

I stayed for 2 nights. Upon checking in, everything was fine. The room is tiny, but it's fine anyway. The bathroom screen was completely broken, but it's fine anyway. We return after dinner, the air conditioning no longer works! A night from HELL! The next day, not a word of apology. We ask at least to refund us for the breakfast of the second day (we cannot consume it since we have to leave early), nothing doing! We had to wait until 8 in the morning. The lady impatiently gave us back 20 euros instead of the 26 we paid. She kept 6 €, no one knows why... You understood correctly. Breakfast costs € 13 per person! And I assure you it is terrible. A shame! The hotel is beautiful, in a stunning location, but very poorly managed. The quality of the breakfast is terrible!

We had a great time, we stayed for 1 Week. The staff are all very nice and go above and beyond to help you with any questions or problems. The rooms were clean and had working AC so it never got too hot. The pool area is nicely kept, very clean. Beaches and the city of Orosei can be reached by foot, but its best to rent a car because there is a lot of beauty in the Gulf of Orosei further south if you go exploring. Parking is no problem since there is a lot of space. Privacy is also decent since you have a hut for yourself. All in all i can recommend staying at Santa Maria for everybody who wants to experience Sardinia's beauty for themselves.

Our stay there was comfortable and calm. They have a nice pool, great service from incredibly kind and helpful personell and a bar/longue as well. It's a 15 minute walk from Orosei and a bit less than 5 minutes with the car, which makes it very central. They do have a bit of a problem with ants at our specific room, but they also keep insect spray in stock. ^^ You can get by with English with just about every staff member. Breakfast, if not included in the booking, may be additionally booked the day before for 15 Euros. I recommend it for anyone who wants to see the east coast.
