Colonna Beach & Resort

We stayed in this hotel for a week, a total of seven days, and we had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is large, very beautiful and surrounded by lush nature. The pool area is excellent, extremely nice and well cared for. The rooms are spacious, with a French-style decor that brings charm and coziness to the environment. The location is also worth mentioning. The center of Porto Cervo is simply stunning, one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited. We chose not to use the hotel restaurant as we considered the high prices and opening hours a bit limited for our holiday routine. Fortunately, only ten minutes walk we found great gastronomic options, with delicious meals. The room has a small closet and an additional closet for clothes. However, the closet had a strong mould smell, which prevented us from using it throughout our stay. As a suggestion for improvement, I believe that replacing this furniture with a table or other more functional item would be an excellent alternative. Another point that we considered high was the fee for pet accommodation. We often travel with our dog, which weighs only five kilos, and the value charged of 30 euros per day was above what we used to find in other hotels. At the hotel bar, we ordered a pizza and we received six small pieces in square shape. Although the environment is very pleasant, we believe the dish description could be clearer to avoid different expectations. Overall, we had a very positive stay. The hotel offers an excellent structure, beautiful facilities and a privileged location. With some adjustments, especially in relation to the bedroom closet and pet policy, the experience can become even better.
