Maison Miramare Boutique Hotel

Unique hotel but despite a deluxe twin bed room reservation, they gave me a mini deluxe saying that the reservation corresponds to the room. In reality, they have no other rooms available and they gave me a 9 sqm room where there is a single and very uncomfortable sofa bed and only a small coat rack that is equally uncomfortable because it is positioned high up

Plus points are: Lovley staff, excellent housekeeping. great location. Towels and bed changed daily. Simple continental breakfast. Fantastic shower. Minus: very small room for a week stay- great for 3/4 nights. 3 floors up- the lift is locked.

For goodness' sake... from the rooms to the breakfast... not so much for the eccentric decor that might appeal to some, but precisely for what should be the services of a hotel that presents itself as a boutique hotel.
