I find some of these reviews interesting because they have not been my experience at all. We booked the luxury suite, on top of the restaurant. Staying in a cave has been such a cool experience, and yes, it's damp but people....it's a cave. I'm not sure what the expectations would be. It is very comfortable but moreover, the staff is absolutely incredible. They called us day of arrival to give us very clear instructions on the valet and what to do if we arrived outside of valet hours. The private breakfast that come with the luxury suite is so special and much love to Daniel who worked extra hard to make sure we had everything we liked. The dinner at the restaurant was beyond incredible, and they tailored our experience to our preferences. Carmelo gave us a tour of the wine cellar after dinner and it has so much history. An absolute delight. To set a bar for this review, I've stayed at multiple Aman hotels, eaten at so many Michelin star restaurants, and this entire experience has been one of my top five of all time. Well done!!

All good except if you are going for the "experience" room which is one of the cave rooms just be aware that the room is damp (the dehumidifier in the room doesn't do the trick). Also, the shower isn't properly sealed so unless you want to flood the bathroom you will need to use the bathtub - that does have a handheld shower head. If you're driving a car, make sure you arrive when the porter is available so he can park your car (hours are on the website) for you do NOT want to drive around the city looking for a place to park.

Great location and helpful staff but very disappointed with our room. We decided to splurge and book a junior cave suite based on the pictures presented on their website. We booked months in advance but when we got there we were put in to what looked like a regular room that I would consider based on their websites pictures and description to be a superior standard room. Niceky decorated but nothing special. A shower that flooded the bathroom everytime you used it as the glass partition would not close properly. No sound proofing so quite noisy from the street and surrounding rooms and no way could you fit four people in the room as per their description of "the suite". The breakfast that was included was tasty but if you didn't get down there early selection was limited. We went down at 9:45 and breakfast was suppose to be available until 10:30. Overall very disappointed as we were charged a lot of money for a room that was definitely not worth it. Not good value.
