Palazzo Gambuzza Maison de Charme

We stayed 2 days in this ancient noble palace. Everything excellent, meticulous cleanliness and abundant sweet and savory breakfast. Miss Mary was very prompt, helpful, and courteous. Paolo and Margherita.

The hotel has rooms in an old palazzo. It’s more like an apartment, as each room has a large bedroom, combined living room and kitchen, as well as a bathroom. The rooms are spacious, but dated. The bed was okay, not great. We shared the large balcony with the rooms next door. There are no screens on the windows, so insects came in the apartment. The bathroom had a small shower. Unfortunately, there was not adequate water pressure and it took a long time to get the shampoo out of my hair. Also, the toilet didn’t flush well so “debris” remained in the toilet. The breakfast was very basic. Nothing fancy.

We stayed as a couple in August 2025, an 'excellent experience, very kind Mrs. Mary attentive to all our needs always, the excellent breakfast with sweet and savory, in the heart of Ispica but also about ten minutes from the beautiful sea of Santa Maria del focallo.
