Traumatic experience: in addition to the bathroom shared with other people (something not specified by those who answered the phone as I called just to get clarification on EVERYTHING), they handed us a key for the "exclusive" of the bathroom and then find out that, the same key and 'was handed to other people. Also after this “surprise” I asked the Owner for explanations who told me “eh but you booked on Booking”..... and so? (I didn’t know there were second class customers) which is not true as I booked directly by phone with him. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a kind lady who, however, was clearly unaware of our Reservation and who we were. The cleanliness leaves much to be desired: first of all the bathroom, as in common the cleaning should be absolutely meticulous, the room had the sheets of the third bed (although we did not care as there were two of us) dirty but above all there was a lot of dust; the fixtures are dated and the walls are “tissue paper”, you can hear EVERYTHING! As for the location it is not really central and is a bit 'uncomfortable to reach the center. The only positive note is that the Owner allowed us to check in before the scheduled time (which is not obvious)

We really enjoyed the place. Pepe, our host, helped us from the very first moments we arrived in the city by tracing o to a paper map places to see, where to eat, and what not to be missed during our staying în Catania, but also towards our trips to Taormina and Siracusa. The place was clean and warm, large room, we had a good breakfast and always a smile from the nice host we had.

I could not rate this place high enough, absolutely fantastic. Peppe and Claudia were the most welcoming hosts, who both speak excellent English, in this amazing bed and breakfast. Good fast WIFI, spacious rooms, and delicious breakfast. Most recommended.
