There is actually breakfast here, which was not the case in Torre the Gaffe and Siracusa, or you can not call it such, even if rooms with breakfast are rented. But here a small, tasteful buffet and tables on a small terrace overlooking the sea - wonderful. Even rooms quite fine that the bathroom, for us alone across the corridor, absolutely does not bother. Also a balcony that can call itself that, where even armchairs and not just air conditioning fits out. Reconciled us after the previous accommodations with Sicily. Somehow it wasn't easy for us to find the accommodation in the townhouse complex at first, which was also due to the fact that it was already dark when we arrived there. And even the "black button" on the door that you should press to enter the admission code is not easy to find. Mirko (very nice host) please a little more explanation.

Please avoid this at all costs. The rooms are not as the pictures present and the location is very high up a hill and far from the town centre. This is minimised in the description. There is many steps, lots of traffic and busy roads and is unkempt areas. You would need taxis. The surrounding is a residential neighbourhood flats which is unpleasant also. Pay a bit more and stay in the centre. The hosts would not refund despite raising concerns. We literally walked in and left within a minute and booked somewhere else.

Unfortunately, our stay here was very disappointing. The biggest issue was the way the hosts handle laundry. Towels and sheets are apparently washed in their private washing machine at only 30 degrees, which feels unhygienic for guest use. At the same time, they complained about small marks (like a bit of mascara on a towel) and demanded extra money to replace or “deep clean” them. I found it very unpleasant to be confronted in such an unfriendly and arrogant way about something so minor, especially when you are paying guests. The overall atmosphere was not welcoming – the host was unfriendly, did not let us explain our side, and made us feel more like a burden than valued guests. The only positive was the breakfast: it was really sweet and delicious, and I appreciate the effort that went into that. Because of the breakfast I give one star, but otherwise I would never want to stay here again.
