Baia di Ulisse Wellness And SPA

We spent three fabulous days in this truly beautiful, elegant place with extraordinary cleanliness, all the staff were kind and welcoming, both the pool and their private beach were enchanting, the rooms were beautiful with everything you need, we will definitely return, a warm greeting to the guy who takes care of the parking

Beautiful hotel with the most gorgeous pool area and immediate access to the beach . Breakfast was very good either way lot’s of fresh cakes, meats , cheeses. Only disappointing part was the beautiful internal bar was out of use , we didn’t always want to drink out of plastic glasses in the evening at the pool bar . The hotel had a lot of planned tours of Sicily parties which was fine except sometimes we felt that the organised trips forgot their was other paying guests staying too.

Part of a tour group. I would give 5 stars for the location and generally impressive looking building. Difficult to find your way around though, and so they could do with clearer signage / maps. Enjoyed swimming in the pool. Shocked that the mini bar tariff charges €3.00 to use a teabag. Avoid! Dinner was good. Breakfast: adequate for me but compared with our next hotel, very disappointing. The coffee, stewed even at 7am, is very poor. My ultimate disappointment was no sense of responsibility from the hotel for clothes going missing. Reported as soon as I noticed on my arrival at the next hotel, but remember noticing that my coathangers were unexpectedly clear while packing that morning. I remember thinking, I am sure I packed more clothes than this, but was extremely bleary after departing terribly early from Gatwick on the 30th, and up at 6.30am both the next 2 days for an early departure. Hadn't checked the contents of the cupboard since hanging up the clothes on Monday morning. Whatever happened that day, while I was out, I have never seen these clothes again. The tour manager did his best to contact the hotel but they just say "nothing found". I reported it to the tour operator but nothing more than an automated reply from them so far. Whether the clothes were simply left behind or stolen, they went missing on the premises. They didn't leave the hotel with me. Unable to claim from my insurance because the value will not be as much as the excess. No communication from the hotel even to express sympathy for the situation - it's the sort of place where it would be possible for someone to ask for any room number and be given the key. This loss happened under their watch but they are not displaying any sense of responsibility whatsoever. So don't do as I did: you cannot hang up your clothes and trust that they will still be there when you want to wear them. Fortunately more valuable items were still in my case and the safe. So this was an opportunist that probably took these not very expensive clothes: pyjamas (the bottom) that I'd bought specifically for a previous holiday to Costa Rica; a little white top; useful black M&S trousers. Sentimental value. It's a personal violation when things are stolen. It rather spoilt what has been a lovely tour. I rather hope that the culprit who "found" my clothes (as they certainly did not leave that room with me) might read this and feel thoroughly ashamed of themselves.
