PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING THIS PLACE - and please do NEVER pay upfront to avoid our misadventure. The place is basically a fraud. We arrived a sunday evening. The swimming pool was basically a SWAMP. We asked to have it cleaned because it was one of the main reasons to chose this place to stay. They promised us it would be clean the next day. That night we slept very poorly because they had organised a baptism party with karaoke and loud music until 1:30am (we weren't notified of this before or during the booking proces). The rooms themselves are spartan and do have quite some defects like broken furniture, no soap (only shampoo - we were asked to clean ourselves with the shampoo when complaining) and holes in the bed linnen. On top of this, the personnel was very tired because of the party and asked us if it was ok to leave the front gate key and serve ourselves. The next day the pool was still a swamp - we couldn't see the bottom of the pool. When complaining about this they said it was perfectly to swim in it. I can't unfortunately post pictures though booking.com so please refer to my google.com review. When asking for a compensation or discount because of the service not being as advertised, the manager said that would be ok, as well as giving us access to a swimming pool somewhere else, but that decision was overruled by the owner of the place, which not only refused to recognise any of the problems, but also refused to speak directly to us. The owner made sure not to make us feel welcome. We had therefore to shorten our stay by two days. Of course, the owner did not want to compensate us in any way for our terrible experience.

Had a lovely two night stay here. Very close to all the sites but out of the hustle and bustle. Had the best pasta ever for lunch, a,so excellent wine. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was so nice to relax in after a busy time sightseeing. Room very comfortable. Great stay.

What an experience of food.... Place and restaurants are very nice cosy, in a big area with pool and baby area! Giro pizza is amazing, all you can eat pizza and fabolous menu for all senses! Sicilia Wine a doc! Very good price comparison with suburban knows restaurant in agrigento! Advice to every one want to eat a truly sicilian food and excellent pizza without to spend a capital! Francesca will be a fantastic host for any exigencies!
