This is my complaint to Love Holidays: Dear Love Holidays Customer Relations Team, I am writing to formally complain about a recent holiday to Sicily booked through yourselves, which fell significantly short of what was advertised. As longstanding customers who have always enjoyed your service, we are particularly disappointed to find ourselves in this position. The swimming pool was entirely unusable — the water was green and full of dead insects, and the surrounding area was covered in cow dung. I have attached photographic evidence. The only outdoor space available was a car park in front of the rooms; there was no sun terrace or seating area of any kind. Your listing advertised a poolside snack bar offering light refreshments and a restaurant catering to all dining needs. In reality, there was no snack bar, no hot drinks facility, and the restaurant only opened for breakfast. The sole refreshments available were two beers, a small wine, and a box of Pringles in the minibar. We discovered — with great difficulty due to the language barrier — that the restaurant would not begin evening service until June. We departed on 31st May. This was never disclosed at the time of booking. The inability to eat on-site in the evenings was a serious problem, as I am the sole driver in our party and had specifically chosen this property so I could enjoy a drink with dinner. We were forced to drive to the nearest village every evening, and on one occasion had no choice but to book a night's accommodation in Ragusa town at our own expense so that I could have a drink with my meal. Your listing also advertised English-speaking staff. The only member of staff present spoke no English at all. In summary: the pool was unusable, there were no refreshment facilities, the restaurant was closed for the duration of our stay, no English-speaking staff were present, and we incurred additional costs for accommodation and meals that should never have been necessary. We look forward to your response within 14 days. Love Holidays offered the 3 of us £40.00 each as compensation. After I said that was not enough and the hotel site as not been updated with the details about the restaurant not been open until June, along with the pool, they offered us a voucher worth £100.00 when we book our next holiday with Love Holidays if we spent over £1000.00.

To have stayed in this house has been an honor for us. Lovely place, even more 'thanks to the family that manages and treats it with a love out of the ordinary. Everything is in the place where it belongs, from the rooms, to the restaurant, from the riding school to the swimming pool. Each part is managed by competent, qualified and attentive staff. We have the honor to list each of them who deserve all our thanks for making us live unique and relaxing moments. Ms Emanuela who welcomed us in a unique and special way. She and Mrs. Mary, every morning pampered us with the Breakfast Service, wonderful, homemade cakes, croissants stuffed with ricotta, cakes and Plum cakes of all kinds and much more. Then we must mention Mr. Salvatore who with his riding and his horses made us live unique moments, with a horse ride that will remain 'indelible in our hearts (quoted ORLANDO AND KIRA). Also a super thank you and a big hug to the girls Giulia and Donata, who take care of the pool and its guests, with impeccable cleanliness, unique availability and desire to work out of the ordinary. Inside the kiosk located adjacent to the pool, they make salads, sandwiches and cocktails that are simply...Super tasty. Thanks to each of you, and last but not least, indeed, we want to thank the cleaning team, who every day made us find the room impeccably. Really nice place surrounded by nature surrounded by animals that complete the harmony without disturbing the least. Very kind owner who makes you feel pampered guest. Great breakfast not with a lot of choice but extremely satisfying and if you want something special you are made at the moment, All fresh produce. Highly recommended Highly recommended
