Palazzo Del Sale

After a busy schedule of tours and "must sees" from Rome to Puglia, Palazzo del Sale was the place where our family could finally unwind and relax. The hotel sits next to a lovely cafe run by the hotel proprietors, Giovanni and Naima. It made for a little corner of heaven where hotel guests, locals and family came to grab a coffee in the morning or apertif in the evening. The hotel is perfectly located on a quiet street that's close to all the sites but also doors away from an incredible restaraunt (Oz), amazing sandwich shop, and steps away from the beach. We stayed in the family room, which provided a little loft with two beds for our teenagers and was perfect. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and get comfortable. All of us agreed it was our favorite place in all our travels and we can't wait to return!

This B&B was the perfect location in Ortigia. Giovanni was great his bar is the perfect place to relax and have a drink or two . He went out of his way to call and arrange a taxi for us to the airport and his food /restaurant were excellent . The room itself was lovely with a private terrace which we enjoyed of an evening with a nightcap .

Clean and quiet room but bathroom to review. Some electrical outlets were broken. Hair dryer unusable because the sockets were not suitable Disappointing experience
