Dated property that would need some touch-ups, but clean and air-conditioned. Reception staff kind and helpful. Clean and spacious pool with a view of the sea. Inside the hotel there is no bar, so if during the day you get a craving for a coffee or something to drink, you have to rely on the vending machines located in some parts of the property. Inside there is a restaurant where we ate the first evening. The food was also quite good, but the management was definitely terrible (waitress aside because she was kind and polite): we enter and are not greeted by anyone, even though there were three people talking among themselves, managers yelling from one side of the room to the other, shouting and constant coming and going, no one answering a "good evening" or a "thank you". The icing on the cake was the breakfast, however: the guy (always the same one present every morning) greets you with a long face like a funeral, doesn't say hello, the music that should be background music is instead at an absurd volume that you can already hear while you go down in the elevator and you can't talk at the table. They prepare your coffee in paper cups with a wooden spoon, and instead of glass cups they use plastic ones (increasing waste...) If you stay at the hotel without a car, you are practically isolated in the middle of nowhere. There are a couple of restaurants nearby reachable on foot and a market, there is nothing else. Mondello is about a 15/20 minute walk away. There is supposed to be public transport service (lines 603 and 86); unfortunately, however, it passes whenever it wants (there are no schedules) or it doesn't even pass at all: we waited for an hour at the stop and in the end we gave up and walked!

Experience not to be repeated. The only not negative aspect was the reception and cleaning staff; everything else absolutely to forget. Rooms obsolete and in need of maintenance. Incredibly amateur catering management for both the Kitchen and Service. The price, finally, is decidedly high for what is offered. Too bad because the location is really nice.

Rooms in the norm. Outdoor parking full of garbage and dangerously uneven. Staff not very empathetic and not very helpful. NO wine at the table, we had to incredibly ask for it over and over again. Food not up to a 4 star hotel. Sufficient breakfast but Swiss hours (at 9.50 they take your stuff away...). From the table at some point they clear away the glasses with an intolerant attitude. NO bar inside, NO chance to have a drink of dinner, which is amazing for a 4 star hotel in super tourist area. Definitely NOT a 4 star, not even a 3, at least in terms of Service. Very little tolerance and availability.
