I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world, and I have to say, without a doubt, Porta di Castro is right up there among the very best boutique hotels I’ve experienced. From the wonderful staff and excellent communication, to the beautiful décor and thoughtfully designed rooms, everything was exceptional. And then there’s Samba the dog — who deserves a special mention for adding an extra touch of charm! The breakfast was quite honestly one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever experienced, and a real highlight of our stay. Kudos to the entire team for creating such a warm, welcoming and memorable experience. I would highly recommend Porta di Castro to anyone visiting Palermo. The location is fantastic too. Thank you to everyone for making my stay so special. I definitely would go back!

The staff and owner are very helpful and friendly. The location was very close to the cathedral and the room was clean and spacious. The staff was accommodating to our needs and provided what we needed during our stay even allowing us to change rooms without any problems

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A superb hotel in the heart of the historic center of Palermo! Everything can be done on foot, which is really very convenient for discovering the city. The hotel is magnificent, with a very beautiful outdoor area and a pool, which is particularly appreciated after a day of sightseeing. The parking is also a real plus in Palermo. The staff is very attentive and incredibly kind. A special mention to the owner, who really does everything possible to make us feel comfortable and ensure our stay is perfect. We have never encountered such kindness and such a sense of hospitality! And what can we say about the breakfast… It is simply amazing, with many local products, a real treat! We recommend this hotel with our eyes closed. Thank you for everything, we had an exceptional stay! ❤️
