Case di Calamazzo, Scopello (IT) is a spacious apartment (for up to 5 people) with a nice terrace and a front garden with the possibility of relaxing in the shade of the trees. The apartment is in a quiet location, accessible by car on a private road to a quite resort, about 500 m from the public road. The pebble beach in a small protected bay with clear water, without jellyfish and hedgehogs is accessible on foot (about 200 m). Swimming at the sea is also suitable for young children. The kitchen and bathroom were good, The air conditioning function was faultless. Nearby points of interest also include Riserva Naturale dello Zingaro. The location of the apartment is a good starting point for day trips by car to the surroundings where there are significant Antique and Normandy monuments. The airport in Trapani is about 60 km. But there is a serious problem with pumping the fuel at the return of a rental car at Trapani Airport, as there is no petrol station in its circle about 4 km, which would be open on Sundays. The nearest shop and restaurant are in Scopello, about 2 km away. But it is better to shop in the nearby town of Castellammare di Golfo (approx. 12 km). The accommodation provider's services were correct and the staff has accepted our request for a later arriving and leaving the apartment. We enjoyed a 10 day stay and we can fully recommend it to a family with young children.

We stayed one week in July in one of the houses of Case di Calamazzo. The house was well equipped with AC (much needed), TV, grill, kitchen appliances, iron, hair dryer and also an beach parasol. Everything we needed was there. We had wifi, but more very occasionally and quite slow. The house is just by the sea, 100 m to a lovely beach with two kiosks and very clear water. We and our boys enjoyed snorkelling, jumping from the boulders and just relaxing. Having the beach so close was a true luxury. Scopello is a lovely village and the area is full of things to see and do. The staff was very helpful and service minded. A perfect vacation that we already look forward to experience again.
