Aga Hotel

The event was organized as a surprise party, and during the agreement phase, it was confirmed to me that the wine was included in the package. When the guests arrived before the guest of honor and asked for something to drink, they were served glasses of wine that, to my surprise, were later charged to me on the final bill. I believe it would have been appropriate to use one of the bottles already included in the banquet, rather than considering such consumptions as extras. Having paid €68 per person for a buffet, I believe this behavior is purely speculative.

We've just returned from the Plaza Hotel Catania and had a great 3 night stay. The location is ideal, coastal views, easy flat walk into Central Catania (20 mins walk to Catania Central bus and train station) and a few local bars and restaurants to enjoy a drink or evening meal. There's also a big supermarket approx 5 mins walk away. The hotel is clean, spacious, and we had a lovely room with balcony and sea view. Sun on the balcony most of the day, with shutters to close to keep the room dark in the mornings. Our bed was comfy, memory foam mattress, and made up each day. Tea and coffee, kettle etc in the room and enough space to hang clothes. There's a couple of bars/restaurants across the road which offer sunloungers for 12€ each with access into the sea. No beach, but the water was perfect! We only had breakfast which was nice, with good choices available. The staff were friendly, helpful and very approachable. We'd certainly stay here again if visiting Sicily.

The Plaza Hotel Roof Top Bar Restaurant is a 5 Star Dining Experience ❤️❤️ Worth a visit if in the area. Experienced staff with stunning views and amazing food.
