Al Mare in Citta

We had already been here last spring and having had a great time we naturally returned. This time we had taken a larger room, roof terrace with table for 4, lovely trinette kitchenette, water filter (and a carafe ready in the fridge) comfortable beds. The building and furniture are not brand new but everything is clean. The managers are very kind and very helpful. The location is very nice, a stone's throw from the sea, many shops in the area and within walking distance to Via Etnea (bus under the house if you want). I will certainly return

Great location, great organization and great people, extremely kind and helpful in case of need, to try.

I chose this place together with my sister-in-law as accommodation for her and other relatives who came from Rome on the occasion of my daughter's Baptism. It was a total disappointment. Unkept place, bad cleaning and smells of mold. Three cockroaches were even found in one of the two rooms. In addition, the air conditioning in the summer is totally inadequate because in the beds on the mezzanine does not get air conditioning and you suffer a lot from the heat. The owner said she had the rooms cleaned after we reported it but very little has changed. It lacks maintenance and the place is badly maintained. I would definitely not recommend it.
