We chose to stay at Etna B&B as it had been personally recommended to us. The property is quite old-fashioned but very well kept. We could have absolutely no complaints about the service– John and Marisa were lovely hosts and always eager to hear about what our day.
Our room was enormous, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was quite simple but to be honest we were happy with just coffee and toast– it's an ideal start to a hot and sticky day in Sicily! John also recommended a great restaurant, which turned out to pretty much be the only great thing about Belpasso other than its close proximity to Etna!
I might be wrong here, but I think one reviewer below may have perhaps misinterpreted John's partial deafness as rudeness...
You definitely need a car if you choose to stay in Belpasso; there is nothing to do there!
