Myself, my husband & our 1 year old son very recently stayed here. At first when the taxi dropped us off I thought the driver had made a mistake. The neighbourhood was very rough and I'm from Oldham! After eventually getting in the building (check in closes at 8pm, we weren't told & flight landed approx 7:30pm) we were very surprised by our room, it was HUGE, bigger than our house, and quite clean. There was a massive bedroom but the bed was incredibly creaky so stayed on the sofa bed in the main room so as not to wake our son rolling over etc. From the second we got out of the taxi however, we could hear very loud music which didn't stop until the early hours. Not only that but whilst we were asleep somebody kept pressing our room number on the intercom outside & when it rang it was very very loud & woke us up, this happened several times until I shouted down the phone & left it off the hook. Not long after we got back to sleep someone set off some fireworks VERY close to our building if not right outside. Back to sleep then a big group started arguing & fighting on the street, loud enough to wake us, eventually calmed down but then started again after we got back to sleep, woke us again, then the police turned up sirens blaring. It was that horrendous we were looking at other accomodation/flights home. The rest of the time was fairly uneventful. Few points on the room (301) the shower door was broken & the shower smelled like mildew. Our room also was not cleaned the whole time we were there, not sure if it's policy but if it was we weren't made aware. All the staff were lovely, no complaints there really. Ok place to stay.

The room was bigger than my flat. It was a bit noisy because the neighbourhood flats and streets. If you go there later than the check in hours they have a nice system to open the door and get your keys.

Stayed for 2 weeks in October 2019 with a view to explore the island . Pretty basic apartment - you have to request even the basics to be able to cook but staff very accommodating. Would not recommend the breakfast unless desperate or hungover and need food! Central location lots of local shops. Only 5 minute walk to Piazzo Duomo and local produce / fish market and restaurants. If you have a car then parking can be a problem but we always managed to get a place without charge nearby - might be different in the height of the season. Staff wonderful and very helpful.
