Capo San Vito Hotel

I must premise that the staff was very courteous and kind in presenting everything in the right way, just as the maitre d' knew how to make us feel at ease, however, apart from the very attractive seaside location, the management of the property is far from being considered a four-star, both for the cleanliness of the room and the dining areas and for the choice of food. The rooms are not very clean and the bathroom is also not equipped with the various items required in a four-star hotel. Only the possibility of having dinner, lunch, and breakfast outdoors, and therefore very hot, without having an indoor room with air conditioning. Breakfast outdoors encouraged the arrival of bees, but not two or three, rather swarms, and I leave it to you to imagine the discomfort. Ours is a constructive comment because one can always improve.

Hotel The reception and restaurant staff are truly kind and capable; nothing to say about that. Unfortunately, however, the rest of the hotel leaves something to be desired on several points. 1. I understand the need to save energy, but being left without sufficient light in the bathroom to the point of not being able to shave seems truly excessive to me. 2. As for the safe: what is the point of securing it with easily removable silicone instead of bolting it down? In this way, it offers no security and I had to take my valuables to the beach; in your opinion, is leaving items unattended a way to make guests relax? 3. I understand the half-board plan and that alcoholic beverages are not included, but not even providing a bottle of water at the table seems like excessive cost-cutting to me. Not to mention the 33cl Nastro Azzurro beer for $7: a price, in my opinion, completely out of line for a 4-star hotel. Put out a pitcher; water should never be denied to anyone. Then at lunch, the same things every day but only a first course, no second course; perhaps they don't want to weigh us down😅 To think that I paid for half-board and not a half-portion. It is clear that they want to save on everything, but it does not seem like a good business strategy to me. 4. I won't even go into the fact that, despite having paid in advance for connecting rooms, upon my arrival we were separated from my children. We were only reunited the next day, forcing us to repack our bags and change rooms and floors. 5. There is a lot of work to be done on the cleaning front. The bathroom, room, and restaurant table were a bit neglected and could have been cleaner.

We stayed a week ago. Service, courtesy, and quality of a high level. A special mention to the reception staff for the high level of professionalism shown towards us. Highly recommended, congratulations!
