Il Tanaceto

Structure surrounded by nature, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and hazelnut groves. Excellent pool always well cleaned. Giovanna and her Family have created a gathering place as it once was in country houses where everything was shared, especially the emotions of the day lived and the ideas for the one to face, always respecting others. We received great advice to visit the area and enjoy its beauties, first of all the "visit" to His Majesty Etna that in the period of our stay paid homage to lava flows that we were able to appreciate up close (exciting!!!) . Tanaceto allows you to live your stay in tranquility also appreciating the breakfast room that was the beating heart of wine production; while in the morning you taste homemade products (marmalades delicious!) and sip a good coffee you can imagine and relive some moments of life that took place during the pressing of the grapes harvested... and for those who have more imagination... can also smell. These feelings are unparalleled. If we go back to your side, I'll see you again.

Giovanna was a delightful host. The 200 year old property is on a vineyard with many outdoor seating areas to sip wine, take in the beautiful scenery and relax. It’s very quiet and peaceful! Giovanna provided a lovely breakfast each morning, she gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and was always happy to please us. The room was very clean and comfortable , including the bed and it had a good shower. If you get one of the upstairs bedrooms like us, the steps were a little narrow and steep for those who have trouble with steps. It was never a problem for us. The location is ideal if you’re driving through the villages around Mt Etna. The entrance is narrow and I recommend a smaller vehicle, the roads don’t have lights at night and you can easily miss the turn. I would definitely stay here again, it was perfectly dreamy , rustic and authentic, and it provided all our needs! Thank you Giovanna!

The place is Cabin but cute and has a nice pool. So far the positives. Then, we just ate but honestly miserable things, which could be done at home and even better. Slow service. In short definitely failed, we will definitely not return
