Posta Hotel

We arrived at the hotel during a major thunderstorm. Because the hotel is located on a narrow one way street, we did not stop in front of the hotel. We were driving a 9 passenger van. Part of the great staff at Posta, Alberto came out into the rain to help us navigate the tight location. He got soaked...but did it with a smile and said it was his pleasure. The breakfast was anything but a buffet, the table was set for us with pastries, means, chiese and fruit.... a banquet with 3 servers providing at the table orders for eggs. Above and beyond by all....true Sicilian hospitality. The hotel accomodations are comfortable and the location was just a short walk to the centro storico. Thank you Hotel Posta .

For the record, I had deleted my first review during our stay; the manager, not being happy with my review, had yelled at me in the breakfast room, and I had therefore deleted it. To make a long story short, the photos will speak for themselves; this three-star hotel is only worth one. The manager is obnoxious, anything but polite, he cannot stand criticism; a hotel can be old without any issues, in good condition with charm and cleaned, but here it is the complete opposite, it is dilapidated and dirty, no thank you. The cleaning in the bathroom was simply not done. The manager did not apologize for it, and nothing changed during our stay. Suspicious marks on the doors, long hairs, etc., etc. The photos on the site do not correspond to reality; there is no buffet. I will tell you only one thing to any traveler coming to Sicily: do not go there!!! This hotel in no way reflects Palermo; I have been going to this magnificent city for more than 10 years, and this manager and his dusty hotel are to be avoided.

We had a great time, the room is not brand new, especially the bathroom, but I was amazed by the obsessive cleanliness throughout the hotel, congratulations. Excellent breakfast, they make you whatever you want, reception and breakfast staff are very kind. Excellent location close to everything
