Villa Principe Di Belmonte

This hotel could aspire to a 3-star rating only for its historic structure and because it has a pool (for those brave enough to enter it). The rooms smell of mold and mustiness and are dusty. The sheets look like leftovers from various grandmothers' houses. Dust is everywhere. In the breakfast room, there are worms on the floor that no one bothers to remove. The pool is shabby; in every corner visible to the naked eye, you can see the mold deposited, the broken umbrellas abandoned, and the plastic seating from the supermarket. The only positive note is the very kind girl at the reception. For the rest, never again. We are from the area and often escape on weekends, but this place makes you want to stay home and at work.

Terrible structure. We were hosted in rooms located inside a parking lot full of weeds. During the night, we were accompanied by insects of all kinds: cockroaches, beetles, and millipedes, which we even found in the sheets. Our neighbors in the room had the same experience as us. Paid about 45 euros per person. Highly not recommended.

Arriving at the hotel and being welcomed so warmly is truly comforting. Everyone was very kind, the waiters, the room attendants. We enjoyed a wonderful week, filled with excursions and ceremonies. From there, I met Federica; she came at 6:00 AM offering me chocolate from her country. She created a work of art and is an explosion of energy and empathy. We will return!
