We stayed from 1.7.26-8.7.26 when Mount Etna was putting on a display. The hotel was excellent in many ways. We had a fifth floor sea view room. There was also a view of Mount Etna from the picture windows in the corridor where you could watch the volcanic activity from a distance. The bed was very comfortable. The room whilst classic in decor (which we like) was very well equipped including tea and coffee facilities and an iron, hairdryer etc. The cleaners did a good job. The room included an allocated beach bed, and towels were available from the beach hut. As other have said the beach is pebbly so sea shoes needed. Breakfast was excellent, great selection of cakes, breads, fruit and salads and could order omlettes etc. Staff were professional. There were restaurants over the road, but we mainly walked into the main part of the town for meals approx 20 minutes walk. Visit to Taormina a must, easily done on the local or city bus. The only negative was that drinks in the hotel were very expensive - I understand that there were standards to maintain however we would have liked to have sat in the bar or outside in the evenings but it was lacking in atmosphere and a little expensive, so went to the little cocktail bar along the road instead to people watch.

Nice and large hotel, large room decorated with old Sicilian grandeur, fits well there, nice wide bed, and with sizable balcony. Unfortunately no clothes racks and therefore often towels and swimwear over the balcony. Doesn't suit a hotel like that. Nice beach (pebble on water shoes) with sunbeds and umbrellas and a lovely clear sea. Also pool for those who want and a nice garden. Very friendly staff and the hotel organizes nice things; Sicilian evening with food in the garden, full moon lounge evening with harp player. Food is doable, not special and wine €10 for a bit in a large glass is quite pricey so beer taken more often. Environment hotel not cozy, lots of eateries but not good only Seasound stands out and you sit there with a sea view. Beautiful cloud skies and you see Mount Etna. Supermarket nearby and you can take the bus to Taormina (lots of tourism) or a taxi from the hotel. Nice views on the way to it.

Really nice room as we were I think Gold Member upgraded. Hotel is nice with a good pool and location is amazing with Mt. Etna right there in the background as you enjoy the seaside experience. Our room had a balcony which faced the ocean and Etna so in the evening you could watch Etna eruptions with their glowing red lava spouts. Overall good experience. One let down was the restaurant where they had only in person taking orders so the entire restaurant had people waiting 45+ mins to place an order.
