Spent 10 days on a B&B basis from 08/30 to 09/09. Simple facility, but comfortable and clean. Varied and satisfying breakfast. Comfortable rooms with a very useful small balcony. Oceanfront location in the very quiet town of Acquacalda, but appreciated because it is away from the chaos and in a very relaxing atmosphere. The girls who manage it are truly great, kind, and helpful. When I return to Lipari I will have no doubts and will return to the Cutimare. Thank you Stefania

We returned to this hotel after a few years and it has deteriorated significantly, it has not been modernized over the years, poor cleanliness, on the beach there is no food service and you are directed to the beach club next door. The photos speak for themselves, I don't think we will return.

Hotel in a wonderful location, on the beach and facing Salina. Location 20 minutes from Lipari center, therefore a rental is necessary to be able to move around freely. Facility with ups and downs. First 3 days of the 9 spent with some difficulties and a room change, due to a faulty door and a bed that was certainly not 4-star quality. In the second room, the air conditioning didn't work for a couple of nights, then it was repaired. The staff still did their best to solve problems and provide support with various accessories like a fan and a drying rack. Spacious and complete rooms. Very good cleanliness. Balcony or garden shared with others. Breakfast needs to be reviewed, poor not so much in quantity but especially in quality (from a 4-star hotel in Sicily, one expects much more). Free sun loungers and umbrellas 20 meters away, very convenient. Beach with large pebbles (water shoes necessary) and fantastic sea. The hotel structure itself suffers from the adjacent presence of a ruin, which blocks the view, what a pity. Acquacalda area needs fixing, with a dilapidated promenade and road. Very good restaurants in the area. In short, Lipari is a nice place, but you have to keep in mind that we are on an island in Sicily, with its beauties and peculiarities, but also with all its contradictions, typical of our wonderful Southern Italy. The 7 islands are all worth visiting, each with its own characteristics and wonders.
